It can be hard to keep track of all your multimedia content, especially when your collection keeps getting bigger and bigger. The MediaMan application is here to lend a helping hand – it can make your life easier by allowing you to store info about all your multimedia content inside a digital database. Try the application and you will see that it makes it incredibly easy to manage a collection of movies, music, games, books, and other content.

To install MediaMan on your PC, you will have to download a 13.1MB .msi file, run it, then follow the onscreen instructions presented by a setup wizard. You will have no problems getting the application up and running on a Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7-powered machine. When you’re done with the installation and you run MediaMan for the first time, you will be presented with a prompt that asks you what you want to do: create an empty collection, create an empty collection and import a few samples, or open an existing collection.

All the multimedia content in your collection is displayed as thumbnails on a virtual shelf. From the Views menu you can switch to another type of view: icons, compact list, expanded list, and details. If you decide to stick with the shelf view, you must know that you can change its theme from the Options menu. You should also know that you can zoom in and out by using the slider in the bottom right hand corner of the interface.

As already mentioned, you can use MediaMan to manage your collection of multimedia content. To help you do so, the application provides the following features: manually enter or import info from the web, easily edit info, keep your collection nicely organized into folders, assign icons to these folders, rate items in your collection, flag items in your collection, export and back up your collection, make purchases from Amazon. From the application’s user friendly interface you will have no problems accessing the powerful functionality it has to offer.

MediaMan is free to use for a trial period of 30 days.
